Abstract/Summary
The work consisted of the monitoring of seven target trenches between the 6th and 10th October 2008.
The site is located close to the Roman Fortress of Deva although historic research indicates that the site, located on marginal land, has not been used for any settlement activity.
No trenches contained any archaeological features or activity prior to the late 19th century were identified during the groundworks.
