Abstract/Summary

An archaeological desk-based assessment was undertaken in 2002 for land near to Manor House, North Rode, Macclesfield, prior to a proposed development. The study area included the 'Manor House', an early nineteenth century house which may have replaced an earlier property, also three other listed buildings. A walkover survey was also undertaken.
