Abstract/Summary
Two archaeological desk-based assessments (see also R2436.2/SCH4408) were undertaken in August 2001 and November 2002 for land at Cross Lane Farm, Cuerdley, Warrington. The most significant of the sites identified on the southern boundary of the site is a possible late prehistoric or Romano-British enclosure, discovered as a cropmark by aerial survey. A possible lime kiln site also lies within the study area.
