Abstract/Summary
A desk based assessment was undertaken in 2002 for a 6.6 hectare site to the south of Middlewich town centre. The assessment and rectification of the historic cartographic identified a small number of potential sites or areas which may preserve archaeological information relating to the use of the area in the Roman, post medieval and early modem periods.
