Geophysical Survey at Mobberley, Cheshire. Main objective was to locate the foundations and any other traces of the Augustine Priory ( built in 1206). Its wherabouts were unclear and geophysical survey was commissioned to characterise the subsurface remains) The results of the survey gave a suggested area for the Priory. The two machines used in the survey were a Geoscan FM 36 (which measures vertical magnetic gradient) and a GSSI GEM300 (which measures magnetic susceptibility and electrical conductivity).
