Abstract/Summary
An archaeological assessment (desk-based and field survey) was undertaken in 1995 for land proposed for the development of the M6 Motorway Services at Junction 21. The site lies to the north of the River Mersey, to the east of Junction 21, and to the south of the A57 road that edges Woolstan and Rixton Moss.
