| Author/Originator | Chester Archaeology |
| Report Number | R2094 |
| Date/Year | 1991 |
Abstract/Summary
Archaeological desk-based assessment undertaken in advance of the development of a golf course on farm land east of Christleton. Aerial photographs taken in 1935 revealed the presence of much ridge and furrow cultivation existing as earthworks. However, this landscape has now largely disappeared apart from one small area of surviving earthworks at the centre of the site. A green land, bounded by ancient hedgerows, also crosses the site.
