Abstract/Summary
A watching brief was undertaken during the construction of a new supermarket at Wilderspool, Warrington. Few archaeologically significant deposits were recorded, however, in the eastern part of the watching brief area, remains were found which have been interpreted as 'back yard' areas of the Roman settlement.
