Watching brief during conversion of existing nineteenth/twentieth century brewery buildings into office buildings. Conversion involved demolition and replacement of some twentieth century buildings with a single new office structure. No features of pre-nineteenth century date identified during watching brief. Probable that Roman settlement extended through this site, but the negative results are due to the extensive nineteenth/twentieth century disturbance.
