Abstract/Summary
Logboats of England and Wales is one of a series of major publications being produced by British Archaeological Reports for the National Maritime Museum. Dr McGrail’s work replaces and updates Sir Cyril Fox’s pioneering study of the English and Welsh material published over fifty years ago. It is particularly important in that it records the advances made and the changes which have occurred in the archaeological discipline during that period, not least in its advocacy of quantitative methods
