Full Description
On the edge of Macclesfield Golf Club, beside a wooden radio mast, ten yards East of a public footpath. All surface features remain intact but the ventilation louvres are missing. Two of them are lying in the undergrowth nearby. A little green paint remains. The hatch is locked with it's original locking bar and a new padlock (2).The site was moved from SJ900718 [CSMR 4128/0/1] in November 1953 and was post 2 in cluster L of group 19. It moved to underground in October 1965, and finally in October 1968 was closed (3).
