Two buildings shown on the Tithe Map and described as 'House, outbuilding and garden'. One building survives. This is an L-shaped two-storey house, brick built with a slate roof. Building has modern casement windows and a central round window in what appears to be a blocked up doorway.
<2> See map for surveyor, c.1837-51, Cheshire Tithe Maps and Awards, EDT 383/2, c.1849 (Maps and Plans). SCH3266.
This map depicts two buildings at this location. The northernmost building is L shaped and the pink shading suggests that this is the dwelling. The building to the south is slightly larger and U shaped. The award describes this plot as a house, outbuilding and garden occupied by George Cragg.
<3> Ordnance Survey, 1909-1912, Ordnance Survey Second Revision County Series (Epoch 3) 25 inch to 1 mile - Cheshire, SJ7279, 1910 (Maps and Plans). SCH4361.
The U shaped building is no longer depicted.
