Full Description
Double ditched causeway or ridges. A Geophysical survey in 1997 revealed evidence for a double ditched feature, possibly a narrow causeway (less than 5 metres wide) crossing the south west half of Castle Stone Field. This appears to stop at the ring ditch and link up but it carries on for approximately 100 metres to the east of it. There is no surface expression of this feature. It was originally interpreted as ridge and furrow from the Geophysics (1).
