Summary
There are cliff overhangs with one or two fallen blocks along a cliff escarpment on the east side of the Valley and possible rock shelters in Waterfall Wood. Local legend that the locals of Alderley Edge hid in the caves of Windmill Wood when armed by Charles Stuart in the 17th century could be mistaken and the caves were here instead.

Full Description
Cliff overhangs with one or two fallen blocks along cliff escarpment on the east side of the Valley in Wilmslow sandstone and possible rock shelters in Waterfall Wood. Local legend that the locals of Alderley Edge hid in the caves of Windmill Wood when armed by Charles Stuart in the 17th century could be mistaken and the caves were here instead (1).
