Summary
This is shown on the 1775 map as wide enough for wagons and skirting the north end of the quarry on a route from the Beacon Lodge to the Goldenstone Merestone. The bend in the road at the north end was later moved another 30 metres north of this as the quarry was extended between 1787 and 1807.

Full Description
Old Quarry Road. This is shown on the 1775 map as wide enough for wagons and skirting the north end of the quarry on a route from the Beacon Lodge to the Goldenstone Merestone. The bend in the road at the north end was later moved another 30 metres north of this as the quarry was extended between 1787 and 1807 (1).
