Summary
This is a series of concealed workings along an infilled shallow opencut which are now much overgrown. Although on the line of the Canyon Mine fault, these workings appear to be older than Canyon Mine. They consists of both shafts and possibly an earlier phase of trenching and some may be early Post Medieval, late Medieval or even earlier

Full Description
Old Rake Working. A series of concealed workings along an infilled shallow opencut now much overgrown. On the continuation of the line of the Canyon Mine fault, these workings appear to be older than Canyon Mine. Consists of both shafts and possibly an earlier phase of trenching. Some may be early Post Medieval, late Medieval or even earlier (1).
