Full Description
Possible Bronze Age Barrow and Post Medieval Tree Plantation. The earth circle, if indeed this is the site of one, is not visible today. Mine workings adjacent to it have all but obscured it. A small circular plantation is shown here on the 1775 Inclosure Award map suggesting the construction of a contemporary landscape feature or else the use of a pre-existing earthwork for planting but the latter seems most likely (1).
