Summary
Earthworks associated with the Finlow Hill mine workings. The workings follow a fault line and the earthworks represent a shaft collapse or hollow for an adit close to the fence line for the wood. These features possibly date from the early nineteenth century.

Shaft collapse or Adit. A shaft collapse or hollow for an Adit close to the fence line for the wood, associated with the Finlow Hill Mineworking. There is also an area of spoil and ground disturbance between the two.
