Summary
A small outcrop quarry is visible on the edge of Roche Moutonee, a glacially smoothed outcrop on the field edge. Herring-bone pick work can be seen on the face only but hollows and spoil banks just inside the wood boundary indicate a possibly earlier outcrop quarry site.

Full Description
Outcrop Quarry and spoil bank. A small outcrop quarry is visible on the edge of Roche Moutonee, a glacially smoothed outcrop on the field edge. Herring-bone pick work can be seen on the face only but hollows and spoil banks just inside the wood boundary indicate a possibly earlier outcrop quarry site (1).
