Full Description
The location of the West Mine Winding Engine House is on the 1872 map next to an incline leading into West Mine from the east (1). It is shown on the 1872 map but nothing remains of it now, presumably it was buried or destroyed. A smaller winding drum and engine stood on the site during the 20th century works (1).
