Summary
The brick footings of a building 10 metres in length were found on the east side of Cow Lane. Samples of coarse hand-made brick are visible. The building may have had an agricultural use and may also have been built in the 18th century. The building is situated in an area of disturbed mining along the Cow lane fault. It is shown on the 1807 estate map.

Full Description
Building Foundations on Cow Lane. The brick footings of a building 10 metres in length were found on the east side of Cow Lane. Samples of coarse hand-made brick are visible. The building may have had an agricultural use and may also have been built in the 18th century. The building is situated in an area of disturbed mining along the Cow lane fault. It is shown on the 1807 estate map (1).
