Full Description
Wizard's Well Mine working. This is a collapsed mine adit entrance immediately adjacent to the exposed fault. Almost certainly only ever a trial. The entrance is set back from the path by approximately 5 metres, completely buried and of unknown length. A shaft in the woods behind (indicated by a depression) connects to this working. There is little evidence of spoil. The age of the feature is unknown but most probably 19th century (1).
