Full Description
Beacon Lodge. Formerly the Game keeper's Lodge, the Stanley Estate pheasant shoots were managed from here at least untill the 1920 - 30's. A typical estate house with a date plaque on the gable end. An area of cobbling within the grounds may indicate the end of the quarry road which heads to the north through the Woods (1).
