This mine likely dates to 1775 or earlier and is shown mainly by an Adit (a horizontal tunnel used for haulage, drainage or access to a mine) and a shaft on the South side of Quarry Road.

Full Description
Beacon Lodge Mine. The Adit entrance intersects with the cutting of the quarry road, therefore it probably post dates this (1775 or earlier), although a continuation of these workings can be seen on the north west side of the road. The Beacon Lodge shaft is on the south side of the road by the partly concealed adit portal. (1).
