Summary

A cropmark of a sub-rectangular enclosure in the area to the north of Beeston Castle. Shown on a recent aerial photograph but does not appear in the RAF air photographs. Cropmarks are visible changes in the growth of vegetation that may indicate a buried feature. These distinctions can usually only be identified from Aerial Photographs.

A cropmark of a sub-rectangular enclosure in the area to the north of Beeston Castle. Shown on A/P SRW Beeston 466, but difficult to distinguish (1). Nothing visible on RAF air photographs (2).
