Full Description

From notes on the Merseyside SMR record card (1). 1238: Deed: Richard le Waleys to his son Ranldlt "And it is to be known that the said Ranldlt and his heirs shall freely grind their own corn without toll in the mills of Hoton and of Pulle ?saving? The right of Reginald de Poulle and of his heirs from the same mill" (2). Suggestion of earleir mill, but may relate to a site to the east (1). On the Tithe apportionment; field 59-Little Mill Hay & ? Owned by the Trustees for sale of the estates of Sir William Thomas Stanley Massey Stanley Bt. Occupied by Thomas Dudson (3).
