Summary
An oval feature shown on a map of 1769 and labelled 'Mount'. It is not shown on 1st edition 1870's map, and on the 2nd edition map this area is covered by the Brunner Mond and later ICI chemical works. Its function is unknown though is may be related to the battle of Winnington Bridge in 1659.

Oval feature shown on map of 1769 and labelled 'Mount'. Not shown on Ist edition 1870s map, and on 2nd edition map this area is covered by the Brunner Mond and later ICI chemical works. Function unknown. Possibly related to battle of Winnington Bridge 1659 (1).
