Full Description
Found on a housing development site in 1999 by metal detector. A bow brooch with pin missing. Integral headloop. Waist bead of three equal sized ridges with ridge above and below. Waist bead does not extend round back of bo Cast. Found on a housing development site in 1999. A Plate brooch with 8 peripheral lugs and raised centre circle filled with white enamel. Set into the enamel are 5 small circles of red glass arranged around a central piece. Pin mising. A Dolphin brooch complete with bronze pin. Possibly hinged type. Incorroded condition. Slight median rib on bow. Milling on end knobs of wings. Cast. A Copper alloy globular headed hair pin. Complete, slightly bent. A Sestertius of Hadrian. A bow brooch with headloop above retangular plinth which is decorated with a panel of two parallel wavy lines. Two short wings incised with vertical lines. Circular. Cast (1).
