Full Description
Copper alloy bow brooch with flat top to bow decorated with chip carved triangles and dots; also circular setting for missing (enamel?) stud. Traces of red enamel inlay survive in one of the triangular settings. Traces of silvered surface. Bow terminates in circular plate with pierced lug to hold (missing) spring. 1st/2nd century. L 55m x 14mm. Found by metal detector (1).
