Full Description
A pendant and two bow brooches found. First brooch T-shaped type with hinged pin (missing) wrapped around bar running through the centre of projecting wings. Undecorated. Late 1st to mid 2nd century. L 41mm breadth 22 mm. Found by metal detector. Second brooch of strip bow type with broad flat bow and triple ridge running length of bow hinged. L 30mm W 13mm. 1st century? Found by metal detector. Crescent shaped pendant of sub-rectangular section with a suspension hole centrally placed in broader central section. Incomplete at both ends. Transverse rib and leaf?. Decoration in relief on outer face of crescent. Amulet? L 30mm D 5mm. Found by metal detector. (1).
