A Sestertius of Faustina Junior was found in gardens in Waterloo Road in the 1960's. It dates from around AD 175. Faustina junior was the wife of Marcus Aurelius (AD161 - 180)

Sestertius of Faustina Junior found c.1960. Obverse: DIVA FA[VSTINA PIA]. Reverse: standing draped figure SC. c AD 175. Obtained by owner from school friend who found the coin in a Waterloo Road garden.
