Sestertius of Lucius Verus. Minted in Rome. Obverse: [IMP CAES L AUREL VERYS AVG]. Reverse: [FEL TEM COS II] SC - Felicitas. Found by metal detector (1). Referenced from (2).
Roman Trumpet type Bow Brooch. Made of copper alloy, the head and part of the bow is all that remains of the brooch. The waist bead continues around the back of the bow. The remains of a pierced lug is evident on the back of the head but the leg is missing. Incomplete and in poor condition. 40mm x 17mm (3).
Roman Polden Hill type Bow Brooch. Made of copper alloy, it appears to be plain. Typical oval mouldings to either side of the head continue as a swelling beneath it. The spring gear is intact with the chord held in place by a lug at the top of the head but the pin is missing as is the foot. The catch-plate is intact but very worn. Short semi-tubular wings with pierced lug terminals support the axis bar. 42mm x 15mm (3).
Roman Coin. Silver coin with Barbarous radiate. 15mm in diameter (3).
Roman Coin. Copper alloy coin of the House of Constantine AE3 (3).
Roman Coin. Copper alloy Sestertius of Marcus Aurelius (3).
Roman Coin. Copper alloy coin of Constantius AE3 (3).
Roman T- shaped copper alloy Bow Brooch. Tapering bow, squared off at head, decorated with two tapering panels of alternating red, blue and white enamel extending half the length of the bow. Small circular depression below enamel panels probably held enamel also. Fragmented catch-plate extends two thirds of the length of the bow. Tubular wings with expanded terminal lugs enclosing a hinge mechanism. A fragment of the pin remains. Imcomplete but in good condition. 50mm x 19.5mm (3).
