Summary
9th century bronze strap end with the tip in the form of an animals head (seen from above). Between the head and the paired rivet holes the decorative panel is a symmetrical foliate device centred on a ringed cross. It has a beaded border.

Bronze strap end with tip in form of animals head (see from above). Between the head and the paired rivet holes the decorative panel is a symmetrical foliate device centred on a ringed cross. Beaded border plain black. 9th century. Discovered by metal detector (1).
