Full Description

A trackway or road is visible on these aerial photographs. It is predominantly defined by the ditches which flanked it. The trackway or road ran almost north-south, before turning ninety degrees to the east.

The trackway or road is depicted on the tithe map for the township and is the precursor to New Road. The cropmarks was originally interpreted in this record as a sub-rectangular enclosure bisected by a double ditched trackway.
