Full Description
<1> Various, Various, Oral communication to the HER, Daily Post Reporter 1996 (Oral Communication). SCH2330.
Human skull found late afternoon on 30 April 1996, during construction work for new sewerage plant at Gatewarth Farm, Sankey Bridges. Found near the outfall of a pumping station c.150m SW of the findspot of the antlers found in 1995 (RN:2590). Found in an excavator bucket, at a depth of c.6-6.5m. No other bones found

Forensic evidence showed that the severed head belong to a man aged in his 30s. Radiocarbon dates awaited
