Full Description
A group of ponds, possibly dug for drainage purposes. NW pond - dug into the shape of ground embanked on East & South. Narrow drain channel on bank into next pond at lower level. Western pond-leads SE into next pond at the same level. Eastern pond- sub-rectangular, cut through in S side. Irregular S.E. channel to next pond. Sub-rectangular channel cuts through south end of East side into largest pond. Possible flax retting system (1).
