Summary
The first Salt Works to be established at Lymm which date to around 1904-5. This was a small works and it was probably taken over by Charles Moore Company who pumped brine from the site and is recorded as part of the Charles Moore estate in 1950. It was subsiding when inspected in 1974.

First Salt Works to be established at Lymm. In Reddish Lane, possibly 1904-5. This was a small works and it was probably taken over by Charles Moore Company who pumped brine from the site. Was certainly part of the Charles Moore estate in 1950. Was subsiding when inspected in 1974 (1).
