Full Description
Threshing Barn, 25m north-east of Duddon Old Hall, Willington Lane. C16 with early C19 additions and nogging. Timber framed with brick nogging and some weather boarding on stone plinth, additions in brick and stone. Corrugated iron roof. Two-storey, five-bay south front. Left three bays timber-framed with tall struts and passing and angle braces. Central pair of doors and two square pitch holes. Right two bays are shippons with hay lofts. Interior: Trusses of tiebeam and two diagonal struts, one reported to carry date 15--. Full architectural description (1).
