Summary
A corn mill here was entirely demolished in around 1935 for road widening, but the mill pool remains. The wheel is recorded as being wood and of undershot type. Maps of Cheshire by Swire and Hutchings (1830) and Bryant (1831) show 2 adjacent mills at Lymm.

Corn Mill entirely demolished c,1935 for road widening, but attractive pool remains. Wheel is said to have been of wood and of undershot type. Swire and Hutchings (1830) and Bryant (1831) show 2 adjacent mills at Lymm (See RN: 523/5) (1).
