Summary

Members of the Sankey family lived at Little Sankey Hall during the same centuries that the Boteler family lived at Bewsey. The family died out during Civil War. The hall was recorded as a dating from around 1500 and being in a delapidated condition in 1927. It was then demolished in 1937.

Full Description

Sankey Hall said to be a manor house (1). Members of the Sankey family lived at Little Sankey Hall during the same centuries that the Boteler family lived at Bewsey. Family died out during Civil War (2). Hall dating from c.1500, reported to be in a very delapidated condition in 1927 (3). Demolished in 1937 (4).
