Summary

Old Hall Farmhouse is a Grade II listed mid seventeenth century building. It has an oak frame and was largely rebuilt externally in brick in the nineteenth century. A datestone on the right chimney gives a date of 1655.

Farmhouse, mid seventeenth century, altered. Oak small-frame largely rebuilt externally in brick nineteenth century and provided with false-framing to front late nineteenth century. Blue clay-tile double-pile roof. Of two storeys and three windows with gabled dormers to front. Wood casements with nineteenth century lattice leads. Framed and boarded door probably late nineteenth century. A small rear wing (right) has seventeenth century oak small-frame. Datestone 1655 on right chimney. Interior: Lobby entrance with two back-to-back inglenooks behind baffle, that to the right altered. Chamfered oak beams in the three front rooms (one to right of lobby, two to left). Dogleg stair with turned balusters, probably mid eighteenth century. Seventeenth century oak framing visible at rear in upper rooms. Oak purlins.
