In March 1910, Mr Thomas May, an Archaeologist of Lower Walton, Warrington exhibited a small vase, possibly 'Celtic', found at Warrington, to Lancashire and Cheshire Antiquarian Society. A proportion of Mr May's private collection was acquired by Warrington Museum upon his death.

Full Description

In March 1910, Mr Thomas May of Lower Walton, Warrington exhibited a small vase, possibly 'Celtic', found at Warrington, to Lancs & Cheshire Ant. Society (1). Siting evidence and present whereabouts unknown. It presumably formed part of Mr May's private collection of which only a proportion was acquired by Warrington Museum upon his death (2).
