A short lived mine that had many aliases. The mine was demolished around 1908. It then began to flood. It was sealed in 1920 by 2 canal boats full of concrete rubble and rubbish from the old rock house foundations. The mine consisted of twin shafts and a relief shaft and spead over about 4 acres of workings. In 1908 the Salt Union Ltd's Inventory of Properties described it as consisting of 'land and salt works, containing 5 pans, storehouses, 2 loading stages etc, also dwelling house, stable etc, and mine, rock house, engine house etc'. By 1908 the house and stable were on subsiding ground, the mine filled with brine, the rock house in ruins and the engine house demolished.
