Full Description
Miniature flat early Bronze Age axe found with a metal detector in October 1992. Characteristic thin butted form. Length 5.8 cm's. Weight 25.29 gms. Surface corrosion and some superficial concretion. Found in ploughed field, approx. 4 ins deep in 14 ins deep ploughed soil. Reported to Cheshire Museums 22/10/1992 (1).
