Silver sixpence of Elizabeth I, not clipped. Found in a garden in Davenham, well over 50 years ago. Obv. Elizabeth. D.G. ANG.FR.ET.HI. REGINA. Crowned bust left, rose behind head. Rev. POSUI/ DEV.AD/IVTORE M. MEU. Square shield on long cross. Dated 1566. Initial mark: Portcullis 1565/ 66- 1566-67. Weight 3.08gm. (1)
