Summary

The Over and Wharton station is on the London and North Western Railway (LNWR) branch from Wharton Green. It opened in 1882 and closed to passengers in 1947. It is a wooden station building, painted LMS red and Yellow with blue brick chimneys and sidings to west. The North Western Hotel is on the opposite side of the street.

Terminus of the London and North Western Railway (LNWR) branch from Wharton Green. Opened 1882 and closed to passengers in 1947. Surviving wooden station building, painted LMS red and Yellow, blue brick chimneys, sidings to west. North Western Hotel on oposite side of the street (1).
