Summary

Site of a mill, near Old Hall, Little Budworth. There is an early reference is to a fulling mill in around 1300. It is shown on maps of Cheshire by Burdett (1775), Greenwood (1819), Swire & Hutchings (1830) and Bryant (1831).

Site of mill, near Old Hall, Little Budworth. 'A watermill and fulling mill with ponds and fisheries adjacent'. There is an earlier reference to the fulling (walk) mill c.1300. Shown on maps by Burdett (1775), Greenwood (1819), Swire & Hutchings (1830), Bryant (1831).

Little Budworth Hall mill is situated adjoining Hall Farm. A small mill for farm use. An older mill site is nearby.

The 1854 plan of the manor has 2 fields to the NE of Old Hall farm which according to the accompanying notebooks, were called Little Mill field and Great Mill field suggesting the possibility of a mill in that area at one time.
