(481741) A combined water and windmill, now largely derelict. The wheel, possibly undershot, and all the machinery have now gone. The Watermill is of 3 storeys, brick and slated, but the windmill tower was largely demolished about 1944 and now only forms a concave curved gable end to the watermill. The brook has been diverted by road improvement and the pool is now an orchard.
<2> Ordnance Survey, 1870-1982, Ordnance Survey Archaeological Record Card, SJ47SE8 1976 (Index). SCH2487.
n 1976 the watermill had been reduced to a rectangular one storey, brick- built building with windows blocked up & converted into a private garage. Probably of 18th century date. The remains of the windmill form the rear wall of the building
