Summary

Post medieval watermills on Cuddington Brook. This is the site of Old/Higher Mill. The mill pond survives, and there are foundations of stone and brick in valley below. It is recorded as a Cornmill and then a Dyeworks. It is shown on Swire and Hutchins map of 1830.

Full Description

Higher Mill: Mill pond survives, Foundations of stone and brick in valley below (1). Said to have been a Cornmill and then a Dyeworks. Little remains except millpool and Dry Leat. Shown on Swire and Hutchins 1830 (2).
