Full Description
Presumably built by 1869 to serve the Cheshire Lines Committee's Northwich - Chester Railway. (1) The building has a single lane track running through its length. As well as serving the general needs of the local vicinity, the goods shed would have also provided access to the railway for a local Saw Mill which existed on the 1910 Ordnance Survey map (2) just to the north, and within easy distance, of the goods shed. The goods shed is present on the 1910 map but by 1973 (3) had, along with the associate sidings, been dismantled or demolished.
